Sony Bravia KDL32EX301U 32" HD Ready LCD TV
The Sony Bravia KDL32EX301U, is Sony’s entry level 32” LCD TV. Though the price tag is lower, the television still has a good array of features, and possesses a built-in Freeview tuner, and is HD ready to a 720p specification.
It is the features that make the KDL32EX301U, a good television and a good option to consider if you do not want to spend too much money, but still want a reliable brand.
As well as a Freeview tuner and HD ready, the Sony KDL32EX301U is socket friendly, featuring 4 x HDMI inputs, (3 rear, 1 side) which support PC signal capability, a USB socket, 2 x scart inputs(RGB), 1 x Component inputs, 1 x Composite video in, 3.5mm headphone jack, and PCMCIA Card Slot, RCA AV Input, and a RF In slot. It also supports Bravia Theatre Sync, and Bravia Sync technologies.
The power source behind the picture quality is the BRAVIA ENGINE 2, which provides a clear and defined picture. To this end Sony have included other features to aid viewing pleasure, such as 24p True Cinema, which shows pictures at a 24 per second frame rate, Live Colour, which allows control over the TV’s colour settings, a choice of two Cinema Modes to make films more authentic, and Scene Select, which allow the appearance and sound be chosen to match the genre of film.
Sound wise, the TV has a Digital Amplifier, and has outputs 20W(10x2 output). The Dolby Digital Plus feature also enables S-Force Front Surround to be possible, and the TV supports Steady Sound. 5.1 Channel Audio Out is also catered for, and different Surround Modes of Cinema/Music/Sport/Game are also a feature. Sound Modes of Dynamic/Standard/Clear Voice are also possible.
The Sony Bravia KDL32EX301U is a good option if Full HD is not your thing, but you like plenty of features at a reasonable price.
